My Services
About the Free Trial Session:
The discovery session is a free session during which we get to know each other.
It is a time where we will look at what brings you and how we can work together.
We will make some agreements about the structure of the sessions, the number, the rhythm and the outcome that you are looking for.
It will be an opportunity for me to answer your questions concerning the coaching process.
There is no commitment for this session.
Sessions:
Usually the sessions are about 45 to 60 minutes.
I suggest a rythm of 3 face to face or phone sessions a month, a common lenght is about 4 to 6 months. But this is just to give an idea.
This will be discussed during the free trial discovery session .
Individual support for children (TCK):
What is a TCK (Third Culture Kid)? The term TCK has been created by David Pollock and Ruth Van Reken, expert in research and helping kids growing among different culture. The third culture child grows away from his/her parent culture and is not part of the host country culture. These children create, then, a culture that is common to them and their life experience. A third culture
As TCK often face situation that are not specifically common in a child's normal growing up, sometimes individual support or coaching might be needed to help them to go htrough difficult times.
Transition, loss of friends, long distance relationship to parents, making new friends, new schools...can be amount the challenges that he or she might have to face...
My work with them is specifically designed to help them move on in a creative and fulfilling way.
Group support and workshops:
I beleive that exchanging experiences in a group is great support for each other.
I facilitate groups around subjects that concern them. I explore themes with the group such as identity, cultural shock, TCK (third culture Kids, see below), transition,... or any concern carried by the group. I include interactive and creative activities.
Here are some of the workshops I facilitate:
- Pre–departure: Leaving and saying good bye: this workshop looks in detail at the grieving and transition processes. It gives tools to live these processes in a rewarding way. (2 days)
- Cultural integration: Chameleon or Hedgehog? Personal and professional adaptation to a new culture. A deep exploration of cultural differences between the participants and their new host country. Creating tools to adjust to them. (2 days)

Conferences and discussions:
"Awareness is the first step to move forward" .
Only when we know what is giving us that feeling of "being stuck", sad,or lost can we think about moving forward.
Talks and conference are one of the ways for expatriates to acknowledge their situation, expolre it and hopefully move forward in the direction of their real choices.
The talks can range from very specific situation that expatriate go through, like: evacuation, grieving process far away from the family, long distance relationships,..
to more general topics on transition, identity, culture chock, TCK,...
Without being exhaustive here is a list of the common topics we offer:
- Kids and mobile life: Do our kids still belong to our culture? Better understand them in order to help them.
- Accompanying spouses: Re-create your lives , rethink our career, re-create your identity.
- Leaving and letting go: Saying good bye: Transition process, Grieving process.
- Re-entry: Am 'I in the same country? Where do I belong?
- The art of Possibilities: Create a path in an international mobile life. Conference based on my book
- Cross cultural adaptation: Chameleon or Hedgehog? How far do we adjust? How far do we remain truthful to our own culture?
These conferences can be done on a face to face set up or trough a conference call media. There is also a possibility to provide these conferences pre-recorded. Don't hesitate to contact me.
